It documents, structures and distributes product master data fully automatically in combination with MultiScan or as a stand-alone solution for manual recording. The MultiScan WebApp is an easy-to-use solution for recording product master data quickly, regardless of the operating system in use. You can add master data according to your needs: Using the configurable entry fields and company-specific identifiers, you can tailor the data to your particular processes and host systems and even add more attributes that are required for product handling in your warehouse.

Scenario 1: Record product master data – process the results in Excel
In stand-alone operation, MultiScan records the dimensions, weight and all other product attributes completely and systematically. The recorded data is exported in an Excel file as clean, consistent and ready-to-use information.
This is ideal for companies that would like to take the first step towards more structured master data management – without laborious IT projects, complicated integration or lengthy training periods. The data is ready to use for internal analyses, communication with the suppliers and as a basis for future system migrations.

Scenario 2: System interconnection – for direct transfer to higher-level systems
Once MultiScan has finished measuring, the MultiScan WebApp transfers data to your WMS in real time through standard interfaces. It makes the data immediately available where it is required. There is no need for manual exports or extra effort, and data processing issues are avoided as the WebApp supports common transmission formats and protocols.

Scenario 3: Process integration – host system fully controls MultiScan
When MultiScan is fully integrated into your warehouse, it is fully embedded in your processes. At the highest level of integration, MultiScan can be fully controlled by your host system, whether it’s an ERP, WMS or WCS system. The recording task is triggered by your system directly, which also transfers the data context and, after recording is complete, receives the complete master data without manual interaction. Another advantage is that your employees continue to work with systems they are already familiar with.
Controlled from your host system in the background, MultiScan measures products automatically and returns a structured set of data – all as part of the existing workflow. This is made possible by state-of-the-art interfaces such as REST APIs creating the link between the MultiScan hardware and your host system.
